I own 4 AV receivers, but I am moving and can only keep one. Let me start, HDMI and Atmos are not a priority or the deciding factor 1. 2002 Sony STR-DA7ES, 2. 2004 Yamaha RX-V2500, 3. 2004 Pioneer Elite VSX-55txi, and 4. 2016 Onkyo TX-RZ810. Which one should I keep? And I'm not selling all of them and buying a Denon/Marantz, before someone tells me to do that. I can only keep one.

Hmmmmm. I’m tempted to use the shotgun gun method.

Definitely the Onkyo.
Onkyo TX-RZ810 (test) – audiovision

Impressive power output bench test results, and is the most up to date of the bunch.
The Sony and the Pioneer has better build quality especially the Sony but are just too old.

The Onkyo may run a little warm but you can add an external fan for less than $20.:D :D

Would vote for the newest one so HDMI 2.0a spec.

Yeah somewhat like was said, the one that has best connectivity options, feature set and amp power for my purposes....but you're in the best position to know what that is....
