Probably 60% HT, 40% Music. Just measured, the room is 28x12 (this includes the 10ft into my dining room). I've attached some pics, note that I just set everything up this past week. Some things are subject to change: speaker positions, couch position, etc.
The salient thing is the distance from the speakers to your couch.

If you don't count the kitchen, the HT room is 12' x 15'?

If you are sitting only 9 Ft away from the speakers, you don't need any external amps, especially with sensitive speakers.

BTW, I think the Yamaha RX-A2080 is an excellent AVR.

You've done a fantastic job working with the space you have so far.

I'd go with the SVS PB 2000's or PC 2000's in that room with the smaller footprint Id probably go with the PC 2000's be easier to find spots for em.

The HSU are a perfect choice as well but they are like the PB 2000's not small and they would take up a lottof space

You can find great deals on eBay for SVS PC 2000's and in SVS outlet store
