Which do you recommend?

Of these two dvd discs Avia guide to H/T or the video essentials disc which is better suited for both audio and video.
I ask because there's a $20.00 difference!

Avia. Ovation also makes Home Theater Tune up, which is sort of Avia "lite" which is very inexpensive, but lacks some of the more advanced calibrations.

These two dvds are basic calibrating discs
The avia lite version I think sells for $49.99 US.
The(JKP) video essentials to H/T sells for $24.99 US.

Is the one selling for $25.00 more a better product. I know it's a dumb question just making sure before I order one. THANKS GENTS

I picked up Home Theater Tune-Up for $14 at Frys. Here's a link to it on Amazon: Link. It's called Sound & Vision, but it was produced by Ovation, the makers of Avia.

Video Essentials is a fairly old version, which has been replaced with the newer Digital Video Essentials.

And the "normal" version of Avia.

I have both Video Essentials and Digital Video Essentials.
Both are a PITA to navigate through but otherwise they have enough material to get you by.

I still use Video Essentials to calibrate displays, but I also skip to the chapter with the test patterns because I know what I'm looking for S&V and Avia are easier to use.
