I have fallen in love with the Audience 72SE floorstanders, but confused about the amp to go with them. Currently thinking about the NAD C372. Any others in a similar price range? Setup is purely for music.

Thanks

I'm based in Singapore at the moment - and both these are not available here.

I guess the NAD it is then since I do need some juice to drive the Dynaudios

For pure entertainment I went to the local version of audioholics - echoloft. Those boys spend half their time discussing wires and interconnects...

Serious nutters these!

This may be a bit more than your budget, but consider matching them up with the Musical Fidelity A5, which is what I have. I'm still in the process of breaking in my 72se's, but they sound pretty sweet with the MF equipment (using the MF A3.5 CD player as my source). Very happy with the way the system sounds. The 72se's are a great sounding speaker.

I use a Rotel RMB-1095 and a Rotel RB-1080 (200 wpc all around) with my Dyn Audience setup (Aries x2, 52x2, 42x2, c130) in my main HT, and an Adcom GFA7500 with my Dyn Audience setup (82x2, 42x2, C130) in my living room. Both sound great, but the Rotels drive the Dyns to levels I can listen to for only a short while.
