Where to find SHORT cable?

The distance from my component ouput jacks to my component input jacks: 4 inches.

This distance end-to-end of the average non-descript rubber coated wire xyz.com wants to sell me: 6 feet.

The distance to the front door my wife is going to throw me out of if I don't clean up this rats nest: 30 feet.

The VERY shortest cable I've been able to find is 18 inches. Anyone know where I can source REALLY SHORT cables?

Blue Jeans Cables on the net. But it'll only allow 1 foot online so call them like I did and get the custom length!!

1/2 meter cables (about 18 inches) are commonly available from many brands. I am currently using Tributaries 1/2 meter cables of various type for interconnects.

You can loop the cables in the back and use tie-wraps to make short coils or bundles.

Or just make your own!? Not very hard. Cut you old cables in half and make two by soldering on new ends.

i read someware that you will dont want them shorter than 1FT. for interference reasons
