where to buy TV?

my question is where is the best place to buy a big screen tv, is it going to be a big store like bestbuy or future shop, or would it be a smaller place. i am currently looking at the sony 51 crt, i am not looking to spend over 2000, any help would be grand.

I would buy a tv from a place that also services the tv. This is a HUGE plus for me. We have a locally owned big-box type store that services what they sell. They will match any price listed in an add or online add from a local store.

My mother has a big screen Mitsu and it has been to the shop four times. She didn't buy it from the store that services, but when it came time to service, that is where it went. So, you can imagine the guilt that was felt from not buying it there. When I upgrade, that is where I am going to get mine.

tv's fail. MUST buy local, and if the option is available, from a store that services what they sell.
