Is it worth the upgrade?

I currently have dual SVS pb1000. I see there is a great sale on the monolith M12. Is there a significant difference that would justify the upgrade? Thanks in advance

I went from the PB-2000 Pro to the RSL 12S and I can't tell you how much better it is. Kicks complete ass and makes the PB-2000 pro look like a toy. I'm not a fan of SVS anymore in general. Just another high prices audio company.
The M12 at the price I just saw will be a massive upgrade in my opinion. I say you can't go wrong here.

If its the older PB-1000, yes, the M-12 will be a substantial upgrade. The newer PB-1000 Pro is a bit step up from the old PB-1000, so if you are looking to upgrade from the Pro, the M-12 will not be as big of an upgrade, but it would still offer a performance improvement.

Something would have to be wrong with the SVS. The SVS has a substantial output advantage from 25hz on up and lower distortion as well. The RSL has more output at 16hz and a little less group delay. Not sure how that equates to the SVS being toy like.

Agreed. The PB-2000 Pro is a more powerful sub on the whole.
