Where do I find good power cords and power cord extensions?

Hello, all!

I recently bought myself an audio rack to house my receiver, dvd player, and Monster HTS3500 power conditioner. Unfortunately, there are two power cords that now can not reach the power conditioner. One is for the subwoofer, and this one can be replaced completely, because it's detachable. However, the power cord from my Samsung HLP6163 is not detachable, which means I need an extension.

I am not looking for anything exotic, but I am just wondering if anyone can recommend where I can find a solidly built quality power cord and extension.

Thanks,
Stan

I would use:

Home Depot
Radio Shack
Sears (Tools Dept)

I am using a very thick industrial strength extension cord from Sears tools dept, works great. I think I paid around $30 for it. Home Depot would have the same kind of cord as well.

ok... as a follow up: I went to Home Depot and couldn't find any replacement cords that I needed. So what I did is pick up two extensions cords. They seem to fit really snug to the detachable subwoofer power cord I brought with me. They are both rated 16awg, just like the subwoofer power cord, and they are rated for 13 amps. I am thinking that this should be ok.

If something is wrong with the sort of extension cords I bought, or with using extension cords in general, please let me know.

Thanks,
Stan

Actually, those work great. The large industrial power extension cords are super. I have a 25' in the garage I use with a power blower. Thick as a rope. The cord is yellow, and the tip is clear with a little red light. Pretty impressive.
