may i suggest a sub from the Harman Kardon line it is a HKTS14 Sub it is a powered 200watt rms sub. the way i got this was when i bought my first home theater speaker package. i got the whole package for $300 cdn. well i dont use any of the speakers anymore but i only use the sub. well i just bought a new sub it is the same HKTS14 sub i got this one for $60 from harmankardon.com as a part. it has been shipped to my cousins address in new jersey all i have to do is pick it up this christmas. so instead of spending mad dough on a polk, svs, or velodyne just get the hkts14 sub since it will give more power than you will ever want and at $60 it is a bargain. and it compliments my system very well. i also have an onkyo and polk speakers. its just a suggestion, but it is much better than my cousins klipsch 12" for which he paid $400, and he also agrees.
