Whats on the inside.

I wanted to see what my speakers looked, including the bracing, speakers and crossover. This is what I've found.

Here is the insides of a Yamaha NS-F700 Speaker.

This is the woofer.

Internal bracing that runs from the bottom to the top, about dead center. No wonder she weighs 55 lbs.

Looks are not everything and I am sure that they sound pretty good.
However, I have seen more impressive looking crossovers, in cheaper
speakers. The most important thing is, that they do ther job. Thanks
for the pictures.

You keep taking stuff apart and you're going to come to a bad end ... mark my words. :D

Someone thought to orient the crossover inductors to minimize field interactions; not a huge big deal, but at least they did it.

I learned that by working on my car. At least I got to upgrade certain parts with it.

Does this use square voice coils like nsf500 which is derived from the Soavo series?
