What's my next step?

I currently have a somewhat thrown together system. It started out as an Insignia box system from Best Buy. Since then I have upgraded the center channel to a Polk CS-10, the reciever to an Onkyo TX-SR608 (7.2), and added a Jamo SUB206B (running 2 subs now). My inclination is to buy some decent bookshelf speakers next that I can swing to surrounds down the road when I can afford some high quality floor-standing speakers. I was looking at some Polk speakers such as the Polk RTI-A3.

I use this system for daily Netflix watching, DVDs, and music. I think the sound quality for music is the most important thing for me.

I am really curious as to the next couple steps/purchases I should make to improve this system for 1.) music and 2.) movies and tv (sports)

Speakers make the most noticable change I your system. The current jewls are the Wharfedale Diamond 220. here's a system review. You don't have to buy them all at once.

Likewise, the Elac Debut B6 looks to be a contenda.

Both of these offer a matching center and various towers so you can grow within the same family.

Thanks for the recommendations. I was leaning toward the Polk because I was under the impression that it was advisable to have similar brands in your system. Is this not true?

Theoretically yes but, well, I don't quite know how to say this, but I think you'll be better off by eventually replacing that Polk center with a center that matches either of those two mains.
