Hi people just new in the forum, and new in this hobby.I always been playing with performance acoustics in cars and not to fancy equipment for Home.I just recently got married and move to a new apartment and decided to build a music room since you guys know(not to much street hanging from now on) so searching,searching and searching and investigaing with friends and stores sellers I ended choosing the following equipments:
-LG plasma 42"
-Marantz A/V receiver 7001 (new) preordered
-Canton Movie cd 201 speakers
-Dish network Sat Tv
-Monster Cable MP-HTS3500 Home Theater Reference Power Center
-MONSTER CABLE MP HT UPS 500
-Playstation 2
-Dvd (waiting for the new Playstation 3 Blue ray Tecn.)
-Blue Jeans cables (ordered)
BY far this is what I have, I'm just waiting for the new Marantz 7001 to get home, to start putting everithing together.I install the plasma and the rest of the equipment and let me tell you this the best image quality I ever seen.Concerning the speakers haven't try them yet. I just listen the other day the cantons cd 101 with a marantz 7500 in a store and they sound pretty amazing,so I took them to the next level with the cd 201. I was goint to buy the Marantz 8500 since has good features like hdmi,THX select 2 etc, but they told me that this model was discontinued and they were goint o release new models.Is been almost 2 months since I started this project and calling every other day to marantz to request info and features of this new receivers.This morning I receive a mail with their specs and right now they are displayed in their web page:

I order Mine allready and it supposed to be here in 2 or 3 weeks, let me tell you I'm counting this days from now on.
