Is there anything better than AN SVS PB13-Ultra or would you buy something else for $5,000.

If they still made them, I'd love to get an SVS cylinder Ultra with real wood sides. Check them out here.

There wasn't enough demand for those. They were cool though. If you really wanted one, I bet they'd build it, but you are going to have to pay for it too :)

Don't think I'd ever want to get "ream"ed by a sub, no matter how much you paid me. :D

For 5,000 I would buy four 18" drivers, four 1,000 watt amps and have enough left over to construct four seperate IB subs. One for each wall.

I would suggest more than four drivers in an IB setup. Surface area is crucial there for extreme LFE. The drivers I listed in my suggestion (Maelstroms) would work there, as would the 15" Tumults. For $5K you could do 8 drivers or so with the Behringer power plants. 2Kw per amplifier on tap would work well in such a scenario.

My dream subs are already procured. 2x 15" Audiopulse AXIS drivers in 5 foot sealed system each, powered by 2000 WRMS each, for each channel of my new 4 way speaker system that should be completed next year(can not finish it this year due to other obligations I am meeting).

These drivers will easily produce monstrous output down to 12 Hz or so in the sealed system. They could easily damage normal house construction.

You should start producing and selling.

My dream sub is the 15" Audiopulse AXIS in what ever box Andrew designs for it. I will just buy booze with the 3-4k that is left over.

Should be done in a couple of weeks.

I am definitely excited to read your impressions, Dawg. You've been talking about that sub for weeks. I hope that your expectations are met (with Andrew at the helm, I suspect that they will be).
