By DEFINITION, an opinion is just that. I do not need to become a moderator to point out the fact that tape or CD is not vinyl.

It CLEARLY says in the thread title "What VINYL ONLY Are Ya Listening To"...you're sharing images of TAPES you're listening to, even if they're not recorded from vinyl. Who's wrong here?

I place my vinyl listening posts in the VINYL ONLY thread as well as in the general listening thread, and that's not against any forum rules from what I have been told.

Trust me -- that's not nearly as strange, offputting or irritating, as you call it, than you posting about tape recordings in the VINYL area of a thread.

Hey, it's all good...was just busting your chops a little because I was originally told that only vinyl listening sessions should be posted here -- someone made that very clear. That's why I began posting CD and other formats I was listening to in the other thread(s), but came back to this one when I spun vinyl. It's like, make up your mind...vinyl only here, or vinyl PLUS other formats elsewhere?

Truth be told, I wish I still had my cassette and cassette singles collection -- I'd buy one of the newer tape decks from Tascam in a heartbeat to play 'em.
