Top deck is a temp fill in for the deck that ate my tape; a Yamaha KX-800U. Bottom deck is a Yamaha KX-1200

I haven't listened to vinyl in quite some time. In fact, I gave all my records to Goodwill a couple of years ago (cleaning out the garage).

But I did find a couple (actually 3) that I still had. . Hopefully, I might find a couple more.

Good morning friends . A cold snap is heading our way with temps hitting the low -30s to -40s region overnight. Last night's listening session was spent listening to the cassettes I recorded in the last two weeks.

Listened to a recording I made earlier this week and found out it had dead spots on the recording. Looked at the tape and found it was damaged at these parts so I'll have to record again to a another tape.

A little bit of both. I have had mostly good luck with used but once in a while like last night, I stumble across one.

Speaking of black pizza, saw this over on Audiokarma and thought it would be good to share here for those looking for storage ideas. I suspect TLS will approve of the turntable in the pic ! ?

Record storage

Wanted a few portable record storage racks, also wanted them adjustable for the time that there’s not enough to fill them up. Made the first one this afternoon, 22” long so it could fit into a cabinet if wanted, they will hold about 100 albums when fully extended.. Here’s my prototype...
