For the longest time, while my house is being built,I have had polk lsi system in mind. But as it gets closer to my purchase,I wonder if i am making the right decision.Any other suggestions?axioms, rockets, possibly ml clarity's in a two channel set up until I can afford more?

What speakers have you heard that you like? Room size, type(s) of music you listen to? What are you going to power them with?

I have to get all new.I planned on a decent receiver,an external amp from audiogon(something for under a 1000,like a used rotel or outlaw)My room is 24x14x9', and is open to kitchen area of about the same size.now back to the speakers.Any ideas?

I'm very happy with my LSi's, but they do sound alot better driven with a very strong amp that is stable at 4 ohm's. if you don't have that I would not recommend them. buying a preowned amp is a great way to go, for $1000.00 you can get some excellent amps. you really should consider going with a multi-amp setup instead of 1 multi-channel amp.
