What Speakers?

Hi,

Im currently planning on upgrading my system or eventually buying a whole new set for HT. Im currently looking at the recommended setups and with that on the $12k System. If lets say you can get away with some of the things listed, lets say the seats and others because i have it already, how would you redo it again? What speakers and amps/reciever should i go with? i can allow a $4000-$5000 buget on the speakers and possibly about $2000 for the reciever, or you can jumble it as to your recommendations.

BTW: if possible speaker brands available here would only be...
1)Morduant Short
2)Paradigm
3)polkaudio LSi
4)Energy
5)B&W
6)Monitor Audio
6)Definitive Technology
7)Klipsch

What is the current setup? Can't tell if any of those would be an upgrade, but speakers make the single largest difference in how a system sounds, period. My preferences of the brands you listed are Mordaunt Short, Paradigm (Studios or Signatures), B&W and I might throw the Polks in there too. I have not heard the Monitor Audios. Not a fan of Klipsch, Energy or Def Tech.

thanks for this one dude. currently i just have a pioneer THX Ultra reciever and Wharfdale diamond 8's for the speakers.
