My system used a class-d amplifier to amplify the audio signal from DSP. I measured that the signal from DSP was clipping. It is a digital clipping where the clipping occured in DSP inside. Can anybody tell me what sounds like from loudspeaker if the clipping signal is sent to loudspeaker? What 's the noise sounds like? Buzzing? Pop? or some thing else? thanks.
