Much of the rest hasn't aged well. I think the socio-political context we live in today has changed too much. Many of what used to be favorites, we thought would never die, like Benny Hill show, WKRP in Cincinnati or Taxi now come off as somewhat childish and naive, bigoted or sexist beyond acceptability.

I still have quite a fond memory of Loni Anderson, though... :D

As old as they look Twilight Zone was such a great show, great writing, excellent actors and, good B&W production. Throw in The Outer Limits (the old ones). Meantime, since I understand that it's never NOT been on since 1951 when it started, I would need a TV somewhere in the house always playing I Love Lucy. I can veg out on almost any really dumb 1960's sitcom, especially Gilligan's Island and I Dream of Genie.

The Muppet Show is also important, as is The X-Files, Miami Vice and some sort of compendium of Saturday Night Live shows. Cheers should be there too, as should 30 Rock.

My fav old shows: Twin Peaks and I, Claudius.

Miami Vice had its moments, mainly the great music that show always had. Twilight Zone is inarguably great. I liked Star Trek TNG and X-Files too.

Miami Vice. Own the series. Most of the music was great. But the cars, the suits, the boats and oh yeah the bikinis. Yeah I know, sexist pig, whatever. But honestly, everything you watch today is somehow a by-product of the way Miami Vice and MTV (which now sucks) changed the landscape of television. JMO  Oh and MASH is timeless.

We just rewatched the whole Twin Peaks series. The GF had never seen it and was hooked in just one episode...it is on Neflix.

Looney Toons, Tom & Jerry, Muppet Show - classics.

Muppet Show SO Right On :p
Truly one of the high points of western civilization. I appreciated the similarities of the Muppets and 30 Rock, but 30 Rock didn't have the old grouchy guys in the balcony.
