BCS....Dont piss me off...Texas should be in, not OU!
****nah, nah, nah, nah, nah*****:D

Don't tell me that the Patriots should be the Superbowl Champion because they beat the Giants in the regular season last year?:D

This is actually a good thing (at least for OU:D).

Now more people can blame the BCS and maybe we can get a NCAA football playoff system during the Obama presidency.:D

1st, the BCS and all those human polls are screwed up.
2nd, if Texas had beaten Texas Tech, this would not have been an issue.

Texas and their fans should take it like a man - like Sam Bradford who said before the BCS came out:

"If we (OU) don't get to play in the Big 12 Championship, then we will look back and say that we should have won that game in October".

So instead of whining and crying, Texas should say, "We should have won that game against Tech."

My system is in my sig.

I just did the math and I have about $4200 in my setup.

 I bough it a bit at a time and never added it all up. No wonder I'm broke.

I actually believe that OU is playing the best right now but I hate to see a computer dictate an outcome. If MO beats OU and a non-conference winner plays in the national championship, then I will really be scratching my head even though it will be my team playing:confused:.

Plus....you dont even like football....

I don't like football at all when OU loses.

I like football just fine when OU wins.:D

One of my wife's uncle listened to some Norah Jones on my system (listed in my Signature) during Thanksgiving. It was in 2.0 Ch Pure Direct mode.

Anyway, he says, "Your speakers (BP7000SC) sound very nice and clear. But it lacks bass a little."

I thought to myself, "This guy obviously doesn't know what the hell he is talking about!":D

Actually, it was "!@#*!@#*!@!**@#!":D

Maybe he thought he was listening to 5.1??

Maybe you need to step up subs, that Trinity is kind of a girl sub:D.

My "real" sub will be tested on the 20th side by side with my Servo and I can't wait to see the results.

I don't think about what it's cost me. I have two systems though basically with some leftovers (receiver and speakers) in another room. The home theater in the living room is nothing to write home about though and the stereo in my bedroom is where most of my money is invested.

Stereo is fed by
NAD C542 CD player
Rega P2 (glass platter) with Denon DL-110 cartridge in to a NAD PP-2 phono preamp
Sony XDRF1HD HD/FM/AM Radio Tuner

amplified by
NAD C320BEE

connected to
Ascend Acoustics Sierra 1s (after trying a number of things I've been happiest with these)

All the NAD gear was a coincidence. I always had a thing for NAD and got the amp and CD player together and when I needed the phono preamp the PP-2 was a good deal on a pretty decent unit that I've had no complaints with so far.

And I've got Audioengine A2s on my computer.

No, I had the system on Pure Direct mode, so no subwoofer at all.
The music was 2.0 Ch only, not 2.1, etc.

But maybe he thought I was playing 2.1 or 5.1, etc.

Okay, please play Transformers BD and let us know if you hear anything during that Shockwave blast by Blackout in the beginnning attack on the military base.

The audio system is valued at around $7500 I suppose. The HDTV and DISH would be on top of that. Just a nice set of toys to play with.

My system is about $30,000+, not including the furniture or massage chair, etc.

I think it sounds and looks okay.:D

Yeah, I think $30K & Up systems are pretty common.:D

I'm sure someone on this forum has a $40K, $50K, and even $60K+ system.

So, yeah, we all love our systems.:D

When I was in college, I thought it was crazy hearing about speakers costing $2K/pr.

First, I don't think a $60K system will automatically blow away a $5K system every single time for both music and movies.

Second, there is always room for improvements.:D

My system cost about 4K for the audio portion of what I bought…it was all new. I am very proud of my system.
