I own Alien Apocalypse.[/end thread]
I changed my mind, I have The Spirit on BD (drunk amazon order, thought I was getting Watchmen). Makes my first choice look like Oscar material. Great visuals, everything else is just really painful to watch, even Scarlett Johansenn. I was going to nominate it for a suckiest movie award, then I saw your post. Now I don't feel so bad.

Jack:rolleyes:

I actually liked The Spirit. It was completely dumb, but I think their idea was to hold true to the original comic and they did that. The problem is, that didn't really translate well to the present day. There were some funny scenes that had us laughing our assses off and that sort of made up a fair amount for how bad the movie was. Eva Mendez was nice on the eyes as well...which made up for Johansenn.

I'd have to go with MI3. There's no high def audio on any of the Mission Impossible discs but I really didn't like the third movie. I bought them because they were on sale.

Aw come on. MI3 has Maggie Q. That alone is worth the cost of the disc. That part where she opens up her dress to get the detonator from her upper thigh............ yummy.

I liked MI3, but it wasn't any better or worse than the rest of the series.

The Shooter or Zodiac, I can't decide which sucks more donkey balls.
Weird. I liked both of those movies--especially Zodiac. I generally detest most action movies but I enjoyed Shooter despite its predictability.

The biggest turd in my collection used to be Alvin and the Chipmunks. It came w/ my Blu-Ray player. I sold it promptly.

Now, I think the worst Blu-Ray I own is Gridiron Gang. The worst HD DVD I own? Oh man...The Contract, P2, Derailed?, Rain in the Mountains, Wolf Creek...shoot...let me get back to y'all.

For those in Canada, order any Alliance movies from the US through Amazon and just wait if they're not out yet.

Alliance is putting ZERO effort into their Blu-ray releases. Chasing Amy, Trainspotting, for example, are all piss poor video quality.

Disney just announced Clerks and Chasing Amy for Blu-ray, they'll be the versions to get later this year.

Clerks on Blu?? The movie was made to look poor by Kevin Smith with grain and poor video quality on purpose.

Going Overboard with Adam Sandler, it was given to me by a friend. This is quite possibly one of the worst movies ever made, one of the movies that makes you wish you could unwatch it and get those 90 minutes of your life back. I try to be entertained even when watching bad movies, the last 10 mnutes of knowing were terrible, but I was otherwise entertained for the rest of the movie so I don't regret watching it. Unless you enjoy suffering, stay away from this movie.

Robin Hood with Kevin Costner. I really like the movie, but the original DVD release has very poor video quality and was only Pro-Logic. Lame.

The worst DVD ever is: "The New York Ripper", from 1982, by Lucio Fulci, on the Anchor Bay studio label.

You really have to see it, to truly appreciate how bad it is.

I challenge anyone to find a worst title than this in their entire collection. ;)

* That was a very blind purchase.
