The website for the receiver I will be getting says "bridge ready". What is this? When I clicked on it I was directed to a new page that had nothing on it, and googling for "the bridge" would not help me at all.

Thanks!

Eddie

p.s. never mind...I found that it is for the ipod.

Probably need a little more information as to what that refers. Bridging usually has to do with amplification.

Good thing you found your answer otherwise I was going to suggest the 'bridge to nowhere' :D

Bridging an amplifier usually means that instead of having a stereo set of outputs you bridge them together to create a mono output with more power. Because instead of using half the transistors for one channel and half for another you use all the transistors for a single channel.

So, there are many meaning for it, after all:D
