I'm actually pretty happy with the sound within the limitations of my headphones. I'm missing a bit on the low end with both my Grado's and my Etymotics.

W warpdrive Full Audioholic Jun 23, 2005 #4 I'm considering getting my old K340 electrostatics from my father-in-law. Those things were hard to drive cleanly, they sounded lifeless, but the I heard the K340 plugged into a real amp, and what a difference it made.
