Yet another spin of this incredible new work:

I have not had this on my lead system yet.... think I will shortly...

I took the HA1 and put it with my McIntosh stuff then ran a USB to my desktop which has JRiver so I can stream on this system too now.

I am debating interconnects now.... my audio guy is trying to sell me Audiquest Water cables... As I need to sets of RCA it's a bit pricey. They are the color I want to compliment the Mac's. (even though I am the only one who will see them and them just once!!!!!! lol quit a hobby we have.

Those are pricey. Hopefully only a limited number of people will see this post, as most at AH are adamant about "snake oil" cables. Not sure what USB you have going from the HA-1 to the PC, but I can recommend the "Carbon" AudioQuest (15% silver coated copper with good shielding). I just got off the phone with the audio guy down in Atlanta. My CDt will be in country 10/15. I've decided to purchase Isotek power managememnt, WireWorld power cables, and a Straight Wire digital coaxial cable to go from the transport to the headphone amp/DAC. Quite a hobby indeed!

I know you are gonna think I am crazy but I am already backing away from the cables....

I was interested at first because they are blue and I thought they'd match the McIntosh. But then I realized the wires are behind the system and blue is at odds with my hunter green walls.

Plus, then I'd like all the cables to match and the USB cable is visible and blue would look terrible.

Really stupid I know but now I am looking at just using Chicago as Earth is double the price of Water!

The audio dealer wants me to use XLR but the back of my audio stand is closed so I just don't have the room for XLR. plus, it's a one meter run so I don't need XLR.

I think I'll buy that Yamaha Dac tomorrow... might well change my mind over night too though. LOL
The Dac looks good because it also streams Tidal, Spotify and most important, JRiver.
