Too much too early for me, so I'm cutting myself off.

It's been discontinued, and I really want 1 or 2 bottles. Thanks Last edited: Dec 19, 2011

dkane360 Audioholic Field Marshall Mar 19, 2009 1,677 0 36 NJ Jan 10, 2012 #228 I went to a whisky tasting event, and tried a few different single malts. Laphroaig 10 was definitely my least favorite. The aroma (if you could call it that) smelled like burnt wires and peat as someone very accurately described. The taste was definitely not for me. It was peaty, salty, and overall very unappealing. The biggest let down was probably Dalwhinnie 15. It smelled quite sweet and delicious, but the taste left a lot to be desired. My favorite of the bunch we tried was a Glenlivet. I don't remember if it was the 12 or 15 though. I have my tasting notes somewhere, just gotta find em I also did a martini tasting (not in the same night lol). It was mostly fruity girls drinks. They weren't too bad

I just saw and tried Blue Moon Grand Cru tonight. Pretty tasty. At $10 for a 750mL bottle, it won't be a regular drink for me, but I'm glad that I tried it.
