I only looked though the last couple of pages but got to wondering if this was only for the beer & wine crowd. While I enjoy a good microbrew beer, I drink so infrequently that it can go bad before I can wipe out a 6 pack. Same story for me with wines, so I've taken to having a small stock of spirits.
Today, Jefferson's Ocean - Aged At Sea. Limited production, just a couple dozen barrels of the "Ocean 2" (this one Batch 19, Bottle 1930) which spend 6-7 years on a research vessel aging, crossing the equator many times and unlike sitting in an aging rack, getting "agitated" every now & then. Unique flavor, just a hint of salt but not something you can easily define.
