Newbie, light on funds, and want a great starter 7.1 surround setup?

Here's a surround system that may drop your jaw:

Two Wharfedale towers, 3 way with dual 8" woofers, one 3 way center channel with dual 6.5" woofers, and 4 surround and surround rear 3 ways with 6.5" woofers. Add to that a Dayton 10" or Klipsch VX10" subwoofer and you've got yourself a pretty great starter surround setup for under $500! Pair that up with a Pioneer VSX-1015TX or Marantz SR8400 and you're still under $1000 !! Let me know if you need links for the best pricing on those receivers. Quick warning, shipping is pretty high and when you bid on the towers your bid is double the amount you enter. Other than that they seem pretty nifty. Their look is not my cup of tea but Wharfdale has a good reputation.

These are good speakers in that price range. These were developed to target the college aged gamers, and retail chains like best buy. They are also the only Wharfedales with horns. Wharfedale makes some pretty awesome speakers when you get into the EVO and Opus lines. The new Diamond 9 series is pretty much the same as the EVO line but with laminated cabinets instead of hardwood. Be aware,Wharfedales, from my experience, love power.
