Westinghouse LCD's
Ragtop,
I just ordered the 32" version of this TV (Westinghouse LTV-32w1). I first came across the Westinghouse LCD's in this month's sound&vision mag. They had rave reviews (price vs. performance) for the LVM-37w1. Albeit, this is a 1080p LCD but a lot of the guts should be the same. For instance, Westinghouse says each of these models have Faroudja DCDi de-interlacing which is from what I understand to be excellent quality.

Over thanksgiving there was a manufacturer's rebate of $400 off of the 32", so it was listing for $900 at multiple retailers (BB, Cruthfield, J&R/Amazon). They must've sold quick b/c by Saturday, the price had gone back up to $1300. I got mine from J&R via amazon.com.
Plus: 1) excellent price/performance; 2) easy setup, also supposed to look great right out of the box w/o much tuning.
Minus: 1) cheezy remote; 2) no HDMI connections, only DVI; 3) I've read of some people having trouble with the DVI connection and actually getting better PQ from the components.
Good Luck.
