Thanks Warp! I just received an email from SVS's retailer up here, they are in fact accepting unofficial orders on them now! Mid January looks like the earliest for pre orders arrivals? They of course will be priced in line with everything else that is sold up here. Taking into account the speakers in your possession I will undoubtedly look forward to your observations, when you post them.

I will have to find something like medium height dresser to put the CC on..
Possibly put the speakers on stands.

But my decor is very much contemporary, I would like to hang my Plasma on the wall above the dresser, or something along the lines of Entertainment Armoire.

But it would have to be big enough for a 50" plasma for when I upgrade my great room TV it will go in there... right now its a 42".

hey warp, do you intend to keep the MBS1 as long as it sounds fine, or do you have an expectation on how good it should sound since it's not really a cheap pair of bookshelves?

Well... they aren't cheap, but with the components they are building these speakers with, I have some high hopes here. As they said, that tweeter is truly reguarded as one of the best on the market... These speakers are pretty heavy as I said before... hopefully contributing to somewhat inert cabinet..

I guess all I can say, is I'll give them a try, and see how they do... If they don't cut the mustard, they go back... Thats the whold idea here, SVS has a very liberal return policy...
