Wanted: ScanSpeak 21W/8554-00

If anyone has one (or two) of the yellow/black Kevlar ScanSpeak 21W/8554-00 drivers I'd be interested in purchasing it/them. UK or EU preferred, but given they're long out of production I'd consider further afield if the seller were willing to do the shipping.

Maybe keep checking hifishark.com or ukaudiomart.com or usaudiomart.com or canuckaudiomart.com. That speaker shows up in past sales on those sites. I checked hifishark and it looks like you just missed a pair from the Netherlands posted May 28 but they are gone already. Hopefully they'll show up again.

Hi Sploo. Just seen your post. I have a pair of Audiomaster MLS4 speakers and upgraded the bass/mid drivers with Scan-speak 21w 8554s in 2002. I no longer use them and are looking to sell. They don' t have any passive crossovers (lost over time) as I went active - mapped the passive c/over and built an active one that matched (2nd pic). The transparency was transformed. Have never gone back to a passive system. Sorry - got carried away. This was all many years ago. I was hoping to sell the speakers complete but I guess an odd ball item, so would consider selling the drivers. Haven't thought about a price? mwillis13@hotmail.com
