Bass management Marantz, Trinnov, MiniDSP?

I am confused about using Audyssey on a Marantz AV10 with 2 subs (Older Monitor Audio Sub and new Perlisten D212S)

And also the main system using Trinnov Altitude 32 with 11 Subs, each on separate channels. (All new Perlistens - 2 D215S, 7 D212S, and 2 D12S)

Willing to get Audyssey MultiEQ app, of course. Would I benefit having a MiniDSP (and using REW) in addition with the Marantz system for sub alignment?

Would I benefit having a MiniDSP (and using REW) for the Altitude 32 to align the 11 subs, or does the Altitude 32 do everything the MiniDSP does?

Also, would I try to gain match the larger D215S subs with the smaller D212S and D12S subs? Seems I would not want the bigger ones to only play as loud as the small ones, or am I thinking of this wrong?

Trying to understand the big picture before I take a deeper dive on both systems.

As much as I like to see forum members helping others, this might be a good case for going to the Audioholics home page and booking a paid consultation with Gene.

I guess my main question is whether a MiniDSP is used to help calibrate subwoofers on either Marantz/Audyssey/Audyssey MultiEQ Editor (2 subs) or Trinnov Altitude (11 subs). Or do either or both of those systems do everything that a MiniDSP setup would do and make it not necessary?

My other question is whether you gain match Subwoofers of different sizes and wattages.
