Wall mounted speakers - B&K FPM6 vs Klipshe G-28

Hi,

First post here. We are looking into getting a new set up for our basement.

We are looking at possibly doing a complete wall mount set up with equipment stored in another room. The only reason is to really save some space vs bookshelf/floor speakers. I have come to the conclusion the trade off will be a less "fulfilling" sound but any thoughts on that are welcome also.

I am trying to compare using three B&K FPM6's vs three Klipshe G-28's.

The main issue is the B&K's are $900 per speaker while the G-28's are $500 per. Are the B&Ks worth the extra price? I did demo them but unfortunately the store did not have the G-28s in stock yet since they are so new.

If we went B&K we would do the ASW610 subwoofer. If the G-28's then the Klipshe SW-110. Recommendations on these as well?

Any thoughts are welcome, thanks!

...The Klipsche G-28 is fairly new, and offers wireless itunes connectivity...If thats important to you I would go with that route..

The FPM6s sound great..def need a sub with them though..

Id wait and try to listen to the G28s

Thanks, I'll see if I can't find somewhere that has them. As far as a sub on the FM6s that is kind of what I gathered from reading a bunch of forums. However, it seems there is a general consensus the B&W -subs- are not really up to par with what you can get elsewhere for the $. Any thoughts there or would be sticking with say a ASW610 be fine?
