vsx-41 faceplate removal?

Hi! I am trying to finish my custom H/T rack, and i need to remove the faceplate of my vsx-41 (pioneer elite receiver). I removed the screws from the bottom of the face, but i am a little nervous about trying to pull the face off. Can anyone ease my nerves with a step by step instructions? As you can see i am a newbie. thx

You had better have a service manual before you do that!

Thx TLS Guy for the quick response..Yeah you are right. I took the cover off the receiver and WOW, not even going to try and remove it. I will just make a cardboard template..thx
I will post my pics when i finish.
