Paid $1370 in Mar. '05 for a vizio L30 -set manf 10/04 - died 10/07. Repair cost exceed $1045. Problem seems to be a "common one" the mainboard. Hundred$ less than main stream products but in the end you pay alot more! Great if you just throw out your TV every couple of years anyway. Buyer beware.

There was another thread on this a few days ago. Your example perfectly illustrates the fact that most electronics are not worth repairing. You could buy a new one for the cost of the repairs.
