Vibration Control Platforms

I'll be honest, I'm not in the market for this kind of product right now. If it has merit I would consider them when I build my next HT system, but I would like to see the claims backed up by more substantial evidence of their performance.

Products like those from Silent Running, Harmonic Resolution and others claim to isolate systems from harmful mechanical vibrations.

I cannot find any chart, measurement, data or other empirical evidence that qualifies how these products actually perform. Mechanical vibration would seem to be a fairly simple thing to measure.

Beyond that, there seems to be a number of reviews that claim substantial sonic improvements when systems are used in conjunction with these devices. Some of the claims made are far from small.

Is there any way for Audioholics to objectively measure how these devices perform or are they simply more snake oil?
