A newbie to the audiophile realm. I have searched and read that the klipsch icon V series is not as good as the reference series, however, would these speakers be a good budget setup if I can get a good deal on them? I was able to get a pair of vf36's, the vc25, and a pair of vs14's for $950 (after taxes). I am a bit concerned that the "matching" vf36 and vc25 don't have matching frequency ranges.
Would this be a good initial setup or should I look elsewhere? This is about my budget limit since I will need to get a subwoofer. Thank you very much for your time and responses.
