Big Lots has Verbatim "Vinyl" CD-Rs, 5 packs in full sized jewel cases for $1.99 a pack! They are printed to look like 45 rpm records but besides that gimmick the main thing is they are the high quality dark blue "azo" dye recording surface that reputedly lasts longer than the silver ones. I just bought five packs. That's a steal if you rip music CDs with any regularity.
Got this tip at an audio club meeting. I was told to make sure you get the ones in the full size jewel cases to get the top quality blue medium.
