Nice setup! Pictures never do it justice, IMO. Like Doug said, a nice big TV and good sound - that's good stuff. Btw, I like the dedicated A/C unit for your gear.

The TV looks to be mounted pretty high. Maybe it's just how the picture makes it look, but I'm just curious why you have it up that high?

Thanks! It is mounted rather high. When I moved from my apartment to my house I moved the mounting bracket first and mounted it before the TV was at my house. Lets just say lack of time and the manpower to grab that thing off the wall. Within the next week I Should have it lowered. Ill update pictures too.

If you want critiqued, lower the tv. If you want to go a step further, see if you can get the wires hidden in the wall.

You are way ahead of a lot of people. The TV is mounted on the wall, as it should be, your center channel is in line with the tweeters of your left and right channel (ear height), and you do not have a lot of clutter or furniture blocking the speakers lower frequencies. If you just moved in, you probably have not had time to dial in your subwoofer or your speakers so I suggest an SPL meter and a review of the Audioholics College material for details on final setup.

Updates updates updates

So I have a few upgrades recently all thanks to everyone at AH.

They are

Rythmik FV12
2 - Infinity P362
2 - Infinity P162
1 - Infinity PC350
1 - 2TB Iomega external hard drive that I store all my movies and it hooks up to my Blu-ray player and works flawlessly.

The FV12 shakes my entire 1001 SqFt house.

Total investment was only $1100 and it blows the Polk Audio out of the water.

This is a very good system for not a lot of money. (respectively) This equipment with proper setup should yield you with years of enjoyment with no need to upgrade. Of course you'll want to... this is Audioholics after all.

I would like to echo what the others have said....btw...my family loved the movie "UP"...my missus gets all teary eyed everytime...I loved Fred and Russell but Doug was my favorite....

Haha i thought the exact thing about the tv. It looked like a 47" in the first pics. But proper mounting height can make all the difference. NOW it looks like the great size it truly is...65"... Drooool ...

I can honestly say that for the $ you have spent on the system you couldnt have done much better if at all. Those Infinitys are known for being such a great buy at their price point. The same is true of the new FV12. Excellent combination of budget & quality sound. Thats probably the exact system id put together for the money, just plain well done!!!

Good placement. Id bring those towers off the back wall a little more to minimize the chance of boomy bass. Id recommend at least 20" from the back of cabinet to the wall.
Have you done the "bass crawl" to see if your sub is placed as best as you can?

Some wall treatments & an isolation platform for the sub would probably help quite a bit.
If your house is on a raised foundation you could easily pop 3 small holes in the floor (1 behind each tower & 1 behind av rack). Then you ould run the wires under the floor for a clean look. Or pop the baseboard off, cut a groove out of drywall near floor & run the wires behind where the baseboard would be put back.

Very fun system youve got there! Its obvious you spent wisely! ENJOY!!

FYi: give your sub a good 30-50 hrs to break in. New subs get noticably better over time. Its a gift that keeps giving for a little while

I know I agree with every one on that! I think its because 1. how high it is ans 2. how much I had it slanted down.

Id love to move them out but then the right one would be in the middle of my walkway. haha.
