v2400 with VCR and DVD questions....

 my v2400 and mitsubishi stereo VCR seem to be connected right in the sense that I can play and record video programs. Now, when I pause my tape I seem to get a small humming sound from the center channel. Any idea what might be causing it? Could it be one of the DSP programs? This is from a video tape that I use for recording. I haven't tried it as yet with a pre-recorded video tape.

My connection is such that I use the audio Outs from the VCR to the Ins on the receiver, and the video Out from the VCR to the In on the receiver. Any suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks.

<font color='#000000'>Hmmmmmm? &nbsp;Have you tried unjusting your cables. &nbsp;Unplug and replug them. &nbsp;Might be as simple as that. &nbsp; If not, sounds like a problem within the VCR. &nbsp;I doubt it's a problem with the receiver. &nbsp;Try putting in a &nbsp;prerecorded tape and see if it still happens.
