Using the subject line in replies...

I find it annoying and confusing when people start typing replies in the subject line. When I try to read the reply it starts off in mid sentence. Some people write the main point in the subject line and the rest of the reply doesn't make sense until you notice the subject. Is anyone else annoyed by this? I'm not attacking anyone personally but there is a lot more of it on this forum than any others I frequent.

What about putting the whole reply in the subject line

Can we do that? It would make the posts easier to read, because then we don't have to read all those messages

Very funny J Garcia and Matt. What BostonMark did is find though it is probably just me that doesn't automatically read the subject lines. I always skip over them. I'm not trying to change everyone's ways for my own satisfaction but the partial sentences really have me confused.

I usually skip over it too, until I see that the knucklehead has put half the sentence as the title... I normally just don't use the title when replying.

with you guys. Unless I find the response makes no sense I pretty much ignore the title of the response.

I don't understand why you'd use the title

to respond to the post anyway. It is annoying since I don't read the titles but the content of the post. So I agree. They are knuckleheads.

The thinking behind those that use the title as part of their responses may be an attempt to add individuality. Not being one of them however, I cannot say for sure. Just a guess.

.....the thing that bothers me most at this site, is when I click on a post, it appears, and then one second later it instantly pops/moves about two inches to the left, and I have to center it manually before I can read it......

I read the titles most but not all the time b/c sumtimes they be the funniest part of de thread. It's em one liner type thingys...

For all the poeple who put half there reply in the topic in this thread, your funny. Seriously. You could become world famous online forum comedians...and not the crappy ones, oh wait.......
