Using surrounds in front of mlp?

No room on sides or behind , do I need to crank up levels to hear them
Better? Really not feeling like they are having a surround effect well ...
Tips advice ??

Don't use them. Just use the front three if you don't have room for surrounds.

I think audysee set them way too low , turned up levels can hear them now .
I think you've set it up so that side and rear effects are now in front of you, which makes no sense and would throw everything off. If you can't place them properly then don't use them.

So I essentially turned them into a second pair of fronts ?
Ahh I see it’s a old receiver it does have front wides also , which seem to be were I located these surrounds . Maybe I’ll try those channels if it doesn’t sound good I’ll stick to 3.2 ch.
