I own the Usher minimonitor S-520. It's probably my favorite speaker for anywhere near the price. I demoed the x-719 as well and thought the build quality was pretty amazing but the sound didn't really do it for me. I thought the bass was a little heavy and while the tweeter sounded great it didn't integrate too well with the midrange. I thought the cabinet was definitely the strongest point of those speakers. Those things weighed about 40 lbs each and were very solid. I would think they are a good deal if you can get them used but if I recall they cost about $1200 new with the bases. I think there are better options at that price.
