Urc Mx-850

Ok so many here seem to like the URC products.

Now here is my issue/question. I now own an Integra 4.7 multzone receiver. The unit is run mainly with keypads but can also be controlled with RS-232 and IR. The info that comes with it does not give any remote codes and the unit does not come with a remote so it is not possible to use that to program another remote.

After spending some time with Integra tech support and keeping on them until they finally came up with the descrete remote codes for the receiver. I have been sent an .mxf file which after speaking with URC this file will work with the MX-850.

I have read that the MX-850 software is a bit cumbersome and clunky. For those that have these what do you think? Have you imported an .mxf file and did it work for you? Are there any other products on the market that can use these codes?

i have had no issues using the universal browser, just open the .mxf file and drag each code to the device and the page you want. .mxf can be used by other vendors, but is the new main code for urc.
