Upscaling

Hello all,

If I have my PS3 set to double scale and my Sony STR-DA5200ES set to upscale to suit my 1081i tv, is one cancelling out the other? Should I have only 1 component of the 2 set to upscale? Or is this OK?

I'm not sure I know what you mean by double scale. If your PS3 is emitting 1080i then your receiver will likely pass that through to the TV because the receiver will know what resolution it is getting.
