Yes, correct. JBL 590 $500 deal is gone. I missed it. Considering KEF R500 now.

It seems like these sales go on and off throughout the year. Kind of like the Denon AVR sales - on and off.

Sales could be back in May, who knows?

Well the $500 was a refurb deal, I never even saw one of those. Mine were new. Don't know if I'd pay list...and same somewhat for the KEF or SVS speakers. I would like to compare the 590s to the SVS speakers, tho I wouldn't do the in-home trial just for that as I really don't plan on buying more speakers (this year at least).

KEF R500 are never going to be priced at $500 a pair, or even $500 each. They're on sale now for under $1900 a pair and won't be any cheaper than that until the new R series is on the market.

I love mine and have no plans to upgrade.
