Hey everyone, finally have a few days of free time and I’ve been researching reading and looking at what possible gains I could get if I purchased upgrades.
Currently it’s a living room/media room situation:
803d3 front left and right, htm2d3 center, 805d3 surround left and right as well as rear surround left and right. For atmos I sadly have upfiring atm psb imagine xa x4 since overhead in wall is still in negotiating with the wife(she’s the boss). For subs I have 2 rel 212se for front left and right. Equipment atm would be a Marantz 8015 running in pre amp mode connected to a mc303,mc452,rotel 1585 x2 with 2 furman elite 20pfi and 1 furmani elite 15dmi. For music it’s cheap(not a huge priority, but lately I have been taking time to listen to music on the system while resting books and programming). Node n130 connected to a topping e70 velvet, Apple TV 4K 3rd gen and reavon ubr 100 4K player. Lg g4 83 is being utilized. I’m trying to get thoughts or suggestions on upgrades and possibly downsizing without losing clarity. I really would like to downsize my amps since I can sell the McIntosh for 3k over what I paid in 21, the rotel units are still growing strong but are quite big. Also would just getting a pre amp to replace the 8015 be a decent bump? Please all comments suggestions thoughts are extremely welcome
