upgrade amp, or speaker

i'm not saying you have to buy a krell, although i love mine :D and i cant disagree that room treatments are as important if not more important, but I know my current amp sounds better than when i had the b&k as my main amp.

also i think the original posters speakers are pretty nice.. nice that i was looking into upgrading to them with my current amp .. so why not try a bad *** amp ..

just my opinion :)

also room treatments are pretty inexpensive so there is alot of money left over for an amp ;)

Seriously, I have no life.
After I type in the db, the thought came, (Just a dose of reality How loud 118db would be.)

The goal would be quality. So, it may be time to look at speaker traps etc. as well?
Hard surfaces reflect in the frequencies human ears are most sensitive, so taming the reflections will make a big difference. It will make soundstage a lot more cohesive, minimize the harshness caused by multiple reflections/high SPL and decrease fatigue.
