Updating old Hi-Fi

I have a question I have Paradigm reference studio speakers circa 2002 , 40V2 , CC and 20v2 for rears and wanted to know what would be the first thing you would update in a system ? The speakers are like new condition and they're powered with a marantz SR-5200 and a marantz CD 6500! Do you keep the speakers or update the electronics

No sub at the moment looking for recommendations if you stay with the same company or go with something different ?
