It's late July … the dog days of summer. Most congressmen & senators are out of town vacationing/campaigning … reporters are also out of town vacationing. It's the height of Slow News … the Silly Season. The Barbie movie's release date was carefully chosen to coincide with it's arrival.

Quick, bring out the UFO stories to fill the gap between the Orcas Attack Manned Boats stories and Shark Week, coming soon in August.

Perhaps those who own the rights to the X-File TV series could sue Elon Musk and the former Twitter, now called X.
