Two computers with iTunes, two destinations

Seriously, I have no life.
I have a friend who wants to distribute iTunes from both of the computers (his and his wife's) to two stereos, as well as the computer speakers. I'm trying to get him to put ceiling speakers above the desk with a small receiver (he's using a POS Kenwood in the basement now and this would work fine). Then, they could switch at the desk without having to go all over the house. I could build a simple switchbox but clicks & pops aren't exactly my favorite things. I could look for a multi-channel buffer or small distribution amp, but I would still need to switch between speakers and line audio for the basement.

Has anyone seen anything that would be better than a basic switchbox, who sells one and how much was it?

Thanks, in advance.

I use an Airport Express to stream my itunes music from my Macbook to my Receiver. If you already have a wireless modem you can have it pair up with that, then you don't need to have an ethernet port near the stereo. They could each have one (they're not pricey 100 bucks or so) and give each a different destination name if they want different music in each area.
It works really well for what I want. Check out the Apple store to see if that's what you're looking for.
